1. Data controller
Karol Weiher (Nexwald), Badergasse 1, 15230 Frankfurt (Oder), Germany · nexwald.team@gmail.com
2. Overview
Nexwald has no user accounts. Personal data is processed only in the situations described below.
3. Hosting and technical access data
This site is delivered through Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., USA). When a page is opened, your browser transmits technical data — in particular your IP address, the date and time, the requested page and information about your browser and device — and Cloudflare processes it to deliver the page and to protect it against attacks and misuse. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure and efficiently delivered website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
4. Blog preview
The home page shows the latest posts from our blog. They are loaded from nexwald.blogspot.com, a Blogger service operated by Google (Google Ireland Limited, Ireland; Google LLC, USA). Your browser therefore connects to Google's servers when the home page is opened, and Google receives your IP address and technical browser data. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in presenting our blog on the home page (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You may object at any time. The blog itself is a separate website run through Blogger; its own terms and privacy notice apply there.
5. Analytics and advertising measurement (only with your consent)
If you accept cookies in the choice window, this site loads Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC) and the Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited / Meta Platforms, Inc.). They set cookies on your device and record how the site is used and how our content and advertising perform. If you choose "essential only", neither is loaded. Meta and we are jointly responsible for collecting this data and passing it on to Meta; Meta is responsible for its further use. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future: clear this site's data in your browser settings, and the choice window appears again.
6. Your choice is stored in your browser
Your answer in the choice window is saved in your browser, so that the window does not appear on every visit. It stays on your device until you delete this site's data.
7. Links to other websites and affiliate links
Some links on this site lead to other websites — providers, shops and brands. Some of them may be affiliate links: if you sign up or buy after clicking one, we may receive a commission, at no extra cost to you. Where we use affiliate links, they are marked as such. When you click a link you leave this site: the other website and the affiliate network that tracks the referral may set their own cookies and process your data under their own privacy policies. We do not receive your personal data from that process, only the information that a referral took place.
8. Contact by email
If you write to nexwald.team@gmail.com, we process your email address and your message to answer you. Legal basis: steps taken at your request or our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). We delete the correspondence once the matter is settled, unless a legal retention duty applies. The mailbox is provided by Google (Gmail).
9. Recipients and transfers to third countries
Recipients of data are Cloudflare (hosting), Google (blog preview; analytics, if you accept) and Meta (Meta Pixel, if you accept), as well as the operators of the websites behind links you click. Where these providers process data in the USA, the transfer is based on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or on standard contractual clauses, as applicable to each provider. We do not use automated decision-making within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.
10. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20). You may object at any time to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21) and withdraw a consent you have given (Art. 7(3)). Contact: nexwald.team@gmail.com. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority, for example the data protection authority for Brandenburg (lda.brandenburg.de) or your local authority within the EU.
11. Changes to this policy
We update this Privacy Policy when the site changes. The current version is always available on this page. Version 2.0 · September 2026.
